Vaccinations are a key part of keeping your beloved pet healthy and disease free. Vaccine types recommended and the frequency of vaccination vary depending upon the lifestyle of your pet. Also make sure to tell us about any previous vaccination reactions your pet may have had, which could affect what we recommend in the future. Canine
Core Vaccines:
Rabies – This vaccine can cover your dog against rabies for 1 or 3 years depending upon when his/her last rabies vaccination was administered. However, because of the communicable (spread to humans) and fatal nature of this disease, if your dog comes into contact with wild animals (raccoons, bats, skunks, etc.) he/she may need to be vaccinated again.
Distemper – This is a combination vaccine that will help prevent the following diseases:
- Distemper virus
- Adenovirus
- Parvovirus
- Parainfluenza virus
- Leptospirosis
Optional Vaccines:
- Bordetella bronchiseptica
- Lyme (Borrelia burgdorferi) disease
Equine
Core Vaccines
- Rabies
- EWT/WNV – Encephalitis (Eastern and Western), Tetanus, West Nile Virus
Optional Vaccines
- Flu/Rhino
Feline
Core Vaccines:
